About Our Debit Card

The GTBank UK MasterCard® Debit Card is an international payment card denominated in Pounds Sterling. It offers you convenience and security by combining the worldwide acceptance and benefits of MasterCard® with a debit card. This ensures funds are debited directly from your GBP current account giving you full control of your finances at home and abroad.

  • Obtain ‘Cashback’ from participating retailers in the UK of up to £100. Cashback provides access to cash without using an ATM machine.
  • Withdraw cash in the UK at cash machines free of charge. A few ATMs charge a commission but you will be informed before charges are made.
  • Withdraw local currency from cash machines in most countries of the world.
  • Make payments for goods on e-commerce websites.
  • Increased security with MasterCard® SecureCode™ for online purchases.
  • Equipped with the latest Chip and PIN technology to help guard against unauthorised transactions.
  • Contactless technology provided added convenience for small value transactions
  • Our fraud detection system constantly monitors card transactions on your account for irregular activities and when we determine a transaction is suspicious, will stop the transaction going through. We’ll send you a text message immediately and give you a call within a short while.

How to Apply

All GTBank UK individual and joint account holders who hold a current account are eligible to apply for the GTBank UK MasterCard® Debit card.

To apply for this product simply complete the appropriate application form and a customer indemnity form if you have not previously completed one.
